Explore the mysterious depths in Infinite Blue, a new free indie survival game now available in Early Access on Steam. Try it now for free on PC.
Steam users can now try out Infinite Blue, a free survival adventure set in the depths of an alien ocean. Released in Early Access, this indie title by solo developer SiSo Game lets players explore the underwater world of planet Bluetopia.
The game is available exclusively for PC and doesn’t require a single cent to dive in.
Infinite Blue is free on Steam
Infinite Blue is a mix of underwater exploration, survival mechanics, and light crafting elements. Players take control of a drone tasked with gathering resources, managing oxygen levels, and discovering hidden secrets beneath the waves. Though the gameplay is still limited, there are no enemies or advanced crafting options yet, the title offers a calming atmosphere and a glimpse into what could become a deeper experience in the future.
Indie experiment with potential
Graphically, the game doesn’t aim for realism, but it makes up for that with creative design and immersive sound. It’s also impressively lightweight, taking just 200 MB of disk space. The developer is encouraging players to submit feedback via Steam reviews to help shape future updates. For now, Infinite Blue offers about 30–60 minutes of relaxed gameplay, making it a good pick for fans of minimalist indie experiments.
Only the beginning
Since this is an Early Access release, the full version is expected to expand the world, mechanics, and narrative elements. The developer hinted at plans for a storyline and new features, though no timeline has been confirmed. Still, with no price tag attached, Infinite Blue might be worth checking out—especially if you enjoy quiet exploration and games like Subnautica, but with a lo-fi twist.
