Stellar Blade for PC Steam

Stellar Blade on PC now has a free demo before release

You can now download and play the free PC demo of Stellar Blade via Steam. Try out the sci-fi action RPG before its official release.

Stellar Blade, one of the most visually striking sci-fi action RPGs of recent years, now offers a free demo on PC. After making waves with its PlayStation 5 debut, the game is preparing to launch on Steam, and players can already try it out before release at no cost.

The long-awaited PC version now has a playable demo

Developed by Korean studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade blends fast-paced combat, cinematic visuals, and a postapocalyptic story centred around Eve, a highly skilled soldier sent to reclaim Earth from alien invaders known as Naytibas. The PC demo offers a sizable slice of the game’s opening segment, including story cutscenes, exploration and several combat encounters.

The combat system is reactive and inspired by character action titles like Bayonetta or NieR: Automata, with a strong emphasis on dodging, parrying, and chaining stylish combos. Players can test the mechanics in real time and explore the first major location to get a sense of the world and pacing.

Free download via Steam. No account linking required

The Stellar Blade demo is available now for all Steam users and requires no additional launcher or account linking. It weighs in at just under 20 GB and supports a wide range of hardware, with multiple graphics presets and full controller support.

The full release date for the PC version has been confirmed for 11 June 2025. The demo gives fans who missed the PS5 release a chance to evaluate how the game performs on their rig and whether it fits their taste in gameplay.
